Yeah I sold my used triple weber 45 carb set up on ebay in like ten minutes for $700. It was old and came with the Z, one for sure needed a rebuild so I thought it was fair given that unknown. I should have posted it for $900 just for the hell of it.

I felt the same way when I bought my mazda5. maybe it was the other dealer being unreasonable, but I was thinking I’d go a few hundred under my limit and boom, it was over.

Yeah I’m happy with it. Not kicking myself, just wondering where it could have gone. Its been listed for nearly a month and I don’t think the test drive went as well as he thought it would.

I think I could have gotten more for that Celica from the new owner, but sometimes it’s nice to just close a deal at an acceptable price. You know what they say: A bird in the hand beats two in the bush.

At some point you have enough of dealing with the majority of dumb buyers and when a decent offer shows up you simply accept it. That may have happened here. If you think $800 is a good price for the car don’t fret over the potential fifty bucks you could have haggled for :)
